Ian is a cowboy. He is a modern cowboy. He doesn’t take cows from one part of the continent to the other. He takes cars from one part of Africa to the other. He buys some trucks in one country. He drives the trucks across half of Africa to another country. This job is very risky. But Ian is not afraid. He can calculate risk. He needs more people. He gives job to some drivers. He meets a cameraman, Tim. Tim makes films about the real life in Africa. He shows the real world in his films. They decide to make a film about the journey of trucks. The journey takes thirty days. Ian and Tim travel together. Ian has many problems on the way. The trucks are old and they break down. They need things which Ian cannot buy in shops. They must have clever ideas. They also have problems on borders. The officers and police give them problems. But Ian never gives up. He gets closer and closer to the place where he must go. In the end they arrive. They do something what nobody else could do. Yes, Ian is a real modern cowboy.
